AI-powered travel startup 30 Sundays has raised $6.7 million in a Series A funding round. As a result, the company’s total funding has reached $7.5 million.
Bessemer Venture Partners led the investment. Meanwhile, existing investors Info Edge Ventures and Eximius Ventures increased their stakes in the company.
AI-Powered Travel Planning Experience
India-based 30 Sundays helps travelers plan and book personalized vacations through artificial intelligence. The platform creates video-based travel itineraries that users can modify using a conversational AI interface.
In addition, the company offers an AI-powered travel concierge during the trip. Travelers receive video guides, restaurant recommendations, shopping suggestions, and AI chat support throughout their journey.
The platform primarily serves couples and currently offers vacation packages to Bali, the Maldives, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Strong Growth and Expansion Plans
30 Sundays has achieved an annualized gross booking value of more than $20 million from its current destination portfolio. Therefore, the company plans to use the new funding to accelerate growth.
The investment will help expand its product, technology, and AI teams. Furthermore, 30 Sundays will increase its marketing efforts and enter new geographic markets. The company also plans to introduce travel offerings for families with children.
Making Holiday Planning Easier
Co-founder and CEO Kshitij Chaudhary said traditional vacation planning often involves static PDFs, repeated follow-ups, and hidden costs. He explained that 30 Sundays aims to make travel planning more transparent and convenient.
Customers receive personalized itineraries, clear pricing, and an AI travel assistant that remains available throughout their trip. As a result, travelers can enjoy a more seamless planning and travel experience.
Bessemer Venture Partners’ Anant Vidur Puri said international holidays remain one of the biggest emotional purchases for Indian families. Moreover, he noted that 30 Sundays has modernized the entire process by combining AI-driven discovery, planning, and customer support with human assistance when needed.
