Hilton Expands LXR Hotels & Resorts in Costa Rica with Maravé Manuel Antonio

Hilton has announced the signing of Maravé Manuel Antonio, LXR Hotels & Resorts in Costa Rica. The resort is expected to open in 2029.

The project will mark LXR Hotels & Resorts’ debut in Costa Rica. It will also strengthen Hilton’s luxury presence across the Caribbean and Latin America.

The resort will occupy a nearly 40-acre beachfront estate in Manuel Antonio. The property will stretch from a rainforest ridge to around 650 feet of Pacific coastline.

The development will feature 173 accommodations. These will include hotel rooms, suites, private bungalows and fully furnished branded residences.

Luxury Resort in Manuel Antonio

The Maravé Manuel Antonio LXR Hotels & Resorts project will offer views of the Pacific Ocean, mountains and rainforest.

The seven-story resort will include 57 accommodations. This will consist of 42 ocean-view guest rooms and 15 private bungalows.

Each bungalow will offer a secluded setting on the natural hillside. The units will also feature private plunge pools and views of the Pacific sunset.

The resort will sit close to Manuel Antonio National Park. The park is one of Costa Rica’s most popular natural attractions.

Expanding Branded Residences

Maravé Manuel Antonio will also introduce LXR Residences to Latin America.

The residential development will include 116 fully furnished luxury residences. These will comprise 66 private villas, 46 oceanfront condominiums and four penthouses.

The project will give buyers an opportunity to own branded luxury residences in one of Costa Rica’s leading coastal destinations.

Nature-Inspired Design

The resort’s design will follow the natural topography of the site. Costa Rican architecture firm Carazo Arquitectura is leading the design.

The development aims to preserve the surrounding vegetation and rainforest environment. Structures will blend into the landscape rather than stand apart from it.

Furthermore, the project is expected to feature Costa Rica’s largest mass-timber structure. The design will also position guest rooms to capture views of the Pacific.

Chicago-based Curioso will design the interiors. Natural stone and warm wood finishes will create a connection with the surrounding environment.

Expansive glass walls will further connect indoor spaces with the outdoors.

Hilton Strengthens Costa Rica Presence

Costa Rica continues to attract luxury travellers seeking nature-focused experiences. Therefore, Manuel Antonio provides a strong setting for the LXR brand.

Hilton said the resort will combine personalized service with cultural experiences and the natural character of the destination.

The Maravé Manuel Antonio LXR Hotels & Resorts project will bring together luxury hospitality, branded residences and nature-focused design. Once completed in 2029, it will add a new high-end resort experience to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
