Star Alliance Paris Charles de Gaulle Lounge Retains Skytrax World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge Title

The Star Alliance Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has retained the Skytrax World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge title for a third consecutive year.

Paris Lounge Wins Third Consecutive Title

The Star Alliance Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has once again been named the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards.

The lounge has now won the category three years in a row since opening in October 2023. Meanwhile, Star Alliance also secured second place with its lounge at Los Angeles International Airport.

The recognition highlights Star Alliance’s focus on improving the airport experience for passengers travelling across multiple airlines.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Lounge

Located in Terminal 1 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, the 1,300-square-metre lounge opened in October 2023.

The facility combines contemporary design with French-inspired features. Travellers can use dedicated areas to relax, work and dine before their flights.

Key features include a welcome bar, a wine section inspired by French wine culture and views overlooking the airport’s runway.

Star Alliance Vice President – Customer Experience Ambar Franco said the recognition reflects the work of member airlines, teams and partners to create a more connected multi-airline travel experience.

Los Angeles Lounge Takes Second Place

Star Alliance also secured second place in the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge category with its lounge at Los Angeles International Airport.

Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted congratulated Star Alliance on securing both the first and second positions. He said the awards recognise the Alliance’s efforts to provide a coordinated airport experience for international travellers.

Extensive Star Alliance Network

At present, 21 Star Alliance member airlines serve Paris. Together, they operate more than 800 weekly flights to over 30 destinations across more than 20 countries.

Star Alliance was established in 1997 as the first global airline alliance. Today, its 26 member airlines provide access to more than 1,150 airports across 190 countries.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are based on an independent international passenger survey. Travellers from around the world vote across categories covering airline and airport customer experiences.
