Radisson Collection Expands in Germany
Radisson Hotel Group has signed an agreement with developer Groß & Partner to open a new Radisson Collection Hotel in Frankfurt. The 189-room property will open in the third quarter of 2027 within the landmark FOUR Frankfurt development. It will become the second Radisson Collection hotel in Germany after Berlin.
Strategic Growth in Frankfurt
The new hotel strengthens Radisson Collection’s presence in one of Europe’s leading business destinations. Frankfurt attracts global corporations, financial institutions, international trade fairs, and business travelers throughout the year.
Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said the project represents a significant addition to the brand’s portfolio. He noted that the development offers an ideal setting for a luxury lifestyle experience in the center of Frankfurt. He also emphasized the company’s confidence in both Frankfurt and the wider German market.
A Landmark Mixed-Use Development
FOUR Frankfurt ranks among Europe’s most ambitious mixed-use developments. The project combines offices, residences, retail outlets, restaurants, and hospitality facilities across four towers.
The development sits between Frankfurt’s banking district and luxury shopping area. In addition, it offers convenient access to cultural attractions and public transportation.
FOUR Frankfurt has already received DGNB Platinum precertification. The project also serves as a pilot initiative under the DGNB Vertical Cities framework. Sustainability features include geothermal energy systems, biodiversity measures, smart digital monitoring, and more than 2,300 bicycle parking spaces.
Hotel Features and Amenities
The Radisson Collection Hotel will occupy the T2 tower. Guest rooms and suites will span floors 11 through 19 and offer panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel will feature:
- 189 rooms and suites
- A ground-floor lobby with lounge and bar
- A first-floor restaurant and bar with approximately 135 seats
- A modern fitness area
Design Inspired by Frankfurt
Radisson Hotel Group’s in-house design and architecture team in Madrid created the hotel’s design concept, titled “Urban Layers.”
The concept draws inspiration from Frankfurt’s unique blend of historic architecture, financial prominence, cultural diversity, and modern skyline. Designers use warm neutral tones, mineral-inspired colors, refined materials, and layered lighting to reflect the city’s character.
Strengthening the Radisson Collection Portfolio
Since launching in 2018, Radisson Collection has expanded to nearly 70 hotels worldwide. The brand focuses on distinctive properties in exceptional destinations. With the addition of Frankfurt, the collection continues to strengthen its presence in major European gateway cities, including Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome, and Brussels.
