Windstar Cruises has expanded its popular Mystery Cruises program by announcing two new itineraries for 2027. The cruise line will offer surprise voyages in Northern Europe and Japan, giving guests the opportunity to discover hidden destinations revealed only shortly before arrival.

Meanwhile, bookings remain open for the 2026 Spanish Mystery Cruise aboard Star Legend.

2026 Spanish Mystery Cruise Still Available

The 2026 sailing departs Barcelona on November 4, 2026, and concludes in Málaga on November 12, 2026.

Throughout the voyage, guests receive clues about each destination approximately 36 hours before arrival, adding an element of surprise. Additionally, Windstar will host a special Destination Discovery Event as part of its signature onboard experience.

According to Windstar Cruises President Chris Prelog, the Mystery Cruises appeal to travelers who enjoy exploring lesser-known destinations rather than returning to familiar ports.

New Northern Europe Mystery Cruise

The first newly announced itinerary is the Northern Europe Mystery Cruise, scheduled for April 15–22, 2027, aboard Star Pride.

The seven-night voyage begins in London (HMS Belfast) with a sailing beneath Tower Bridge before visiting a series of undisclosed destinations. The cruise concludes in Amsterdam, where guests will arrive during the city’s famous tulip season.

Japan Mystery Cruise Debuts in 2027

Windstar is also introducing its first Japan Mystery Cruise, sailing aboard the new Star Seeker from September 14–25, 2027.

The 11-night itinerary begins in Sapporo (Otaru), Hokkaido, and ends in Osaka, the gateway to Kyoto. Along the way, guests will enjoy surprise ports of call and a brand-new Destination Discovery Event.

Limited-Time Booking Offer

Additionally, Windstar has launched its More Reasons to Say Yes promotion for new bookings made between July 1 and November 17, 2026.

The offer includes:

  • A complimentary All-Inclusive upgrade valued at more than $1,300 for two guests on a seven-night voyage.
  • A reduced $300 per stateroom deposit.
  • Additional savings for Yacht Club Members.

Windstar Expands Its Signature Mystery Experience

With the addition of Northern Europe and Japan itineraries, Windstar continues to grow its Mystery Cruises collection. The unique concept combines surprise destinations, immersive experiences, and smaller-ship cruising, giving travelers a fresh way to explore regions while discovering ports that remain secret until just before arrival.
