April 2026 — Ponant Explorations has announced a jazz-themed Baltic voyage for early 2027. The 11-day journey will combine live music with cultural exploration across Northern Europe.
Voyage Details and Itinerary
The cruise, titled “Jazz Festival, from the Baltic to the North Sea,” will sail aboard Le Commandant Charcot. It will depart from Helsinki and end in Bergen from January 23 to February 2, 2027.
Along the way, the ship will visit several destinations. These include Tallinn, Stockholm, Visby, Gotland, Skagen, Kristiansand, Egersund, and Lysefjorden.
Music and Cultural Program
Ponant developed the voyage in partnership with Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Festival Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents. As a result, guests will enjoy concerts, jam sessions, and themed performances.
The program will also include a tribute to the collaboration between Antônio Carlos Jobim and Stan Getz.
Featured Artists
The musical lineup will highlight Bossa Nova and Swing. Saxophonist Julian Lee will lead the performances with his quartet.
Additionally, vocalist Mar Vilaseca will join the group. Pianist Caelan Cardello, bassist Russell Hall, and drummer Matthew Lee will also perform.
Moreover, award-winning Estonian artist Kadri Voorand will appear during the voyage.

All-inclusive fares start at $13,380 per guest. Furthermore, travelers who book before April 30, 2026, will receive a complimentary hotel stay in Helsinki.
