Luxury expedition cruise line Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced that all accommodations across its fleet will be reclassified under a unified suite structure starting April 2, 2026. The move is designed to ensure consistent branding and reinforce the company’s positioning in the luxury expedition cruise market.
According to the cruise line, the change reflects the level of comfort and service already offered onboard its vessels and aligns the naming of accommodations with the suite-style experience guests receive throughout the fleet.
Company President and CEO James A. Rodriguez said the update is intended to better reflect the company’s onboard hospitality standards and strengthen its identity within the luxury expedition travel segment.
Three-Tier Suite Structure
Under the new classification, accommodations will be grouped into three main suite collections.

The Signature Collection includes the brand’s core “Always Included by Atlas” amenities and features suites such as Adventure Ocean and Veranda suites.
Key benefits include:
- 24-hour in-suite dining with premium beverages
- Stocked minibar
- L’Occitane bath products
- Complimentary binoculars for expedition viewing

Guests staying in these suites will receive all benefits from the Signature and Concierge tiers plus additional luxury services such as:
- Dedicated butler service

Expanded Suite Space
As part of the reclassification, some stateroom categories — including Deluxe Horizon, Deluxe Veranda and Horizon suites — will also see size upgrades of up to 25% more interior space compared to standard veranda accommodations in the Signature Collection.
Enhanced Explorer’s Choice Offer
Coinciding with the suite restructuring, Atlas Ocean Voyages will also launch an enhanced Explorer’s Choice promotion starting April 2, 2026.
Guests will be able to choose from several booking incentives:
- Double Air Credits up to $3,000 per suite on select voyages
- A complimentary pre-expedition hotel night
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
Travelers booking a Reserve Collection suite will be able to select two of these benefits, offering additional value for premium bookings.
Strengthening Luxury Expedition Positioning
The fleetwide suite reclassification highlights Atlas Ocean Voyages’ effort to reinforce its standing in the luxury expedition cruise sector, where personalized service, spacious accommodations and all-inclusive experiences are key differentiators.
By standardizing suite terminology and expanding amenities, the cruise line aims to deliver a more consistent luxury guest experience across its expedition fleet.
