Marriott International has introduced Ask Bonvoy, a new AI-powered conversational search tool designed to help travelers find hotels using natural language. The feature is launching in beta and forms part of the company’s broader enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategy.
Initially, Ask Bonvoy is available in U.S. English for a limited group of Marriott Bonvoy members through Marriott’s website and mobile app.
AI Delivers a More Personalized Hotel Search Experience
Ask Bonvoy enables travelers to search using everyday language instead of traditional filters. The AI interprets user queries, understands the purpose of the trip, and recommends hotels from Marriott’s global portfolio based on individual travel needs.
The launch comes shortly after Marriott surpassed 10,000 properties worldwide, giving travelers access to one of the industry’s largest hotel networks.
Part of Marriott’s Broader AI Strategy
The rollout of Ask Bonvoy represents another step in Marriott’s wider artificial intelligence deployment across its business. The hospitality company aims to simplify travel planning while delivering more personalized recommendations and improving the overall booking experience.
Initially released as a beta feature, Marriott is expected to refine and expand the platform based on user feedback.
Competition in Hospitality AI Intensifies
With Ask Bonvoy, Marriott joins a growing number of global hotel brands investing in AI-powered travel planning tools. As conversational search becomes more common, hospitality companies are increasingly using artificial intelligence to improve customer engagement, simplify hotel discovery, and enhance digital booking experiences.
The introduction of Ask Bonvoy reflects the industry’s continued shift toward AI-driven personalization, making it easier for travelers to find accommodations that match their preferences through simple, conversational searches.
