Carnival Legend has arrived in Europe to begin its summer deployment, offering guests new itineraries across Northern Europe, the British Isles, and the Baltic region.

Ship Starts New Season from Dover

Carnival Legend completed its transatlantic journey from Miami and arrived at its new homeport in Dover on June 7, 2026.

The Spirit-class cruise ship will operate a series of nine- to 12-night cruises throughout the European summer season.

The itineraries include destinations across Scandinavia, the British Isles, and the Baltic.

Iceland and Solar Eclipse Voyages

Later this month, Carnival Legend will offer a special Iceland cruise.

The itinerary includes stops at Grundarfjordur, Reykjavik, Akureyri, and Djupivogur, along with destinations in Great Britain and Ireland.

Another highlight is an 11-night Western Europe sailing designed to give guests a prime viewing location for a total solar eclipse.

The cruise visits Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Le Verdon, Vigo, Porto, Lisbon, and Guernsey.

Mediterranean Season Ahead

In September, Carnival Legend will move to the Mediterranean.

The ship will arrive at Civitavecchia, Italy, to begin a fall deployment.

The Mediterranean season will run through November.

Guests can explore destinations in Italy, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, and Turkey on nine- and 12-night cruises.

Refurbishment Adds New Feature

Before starting its European season, Carnival Legend completed a refurbishment at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport.

The ship became the first Carnival vessel to receive the new “From Sea to Shining Sea” bow crest.

Inspired by “America the Beautiful,” the design celebrates the United States’ 250th anniversary.

Carnival plans to introduce the feature across its ships sailing from U.S. ports.
