Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has announced its upcoming Golf & Cruise voyages for 2027 and 2028, offering golf lovers the chance to play at destinations around the world.

Golf Experiences Designed for Every Player

The themed voyages combine luxury cruising with professional golf experiences. Guests can improve their skills while visiting international golf destinations.

The programs are designed for different experience levels. Beginners and experienced players can choose training sessions, coaching, and personalized golf packages.

Guests sailing on Europa and Europa 2 can also add golf experiences outside the dedicated Golf & Cruise itineraries.

Training and Coaching Onboard

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises offers several tools to support golfers during their journey.

Onboard golf simulators allow guests to practice during sea days. They can play virtual rounds at international courses and work on specific techniques.

High-speed camera analysis helps guests review their swings. A PGA golf professional is also available onboard throughout the year.

The golf experts support guests both at sea and during shore excursions.

Golf Excursions at International Destinations

The Golf & Cruise package includes guidance from PGA professionals and assistance with golf activities on land.

Selected cruises offer small-group golf excursions. These include warm-up sessions led by professional instructors before players begin their rounds.

Canary Islands and North Africa Adventure

October 25 – November 6, 2027

This 12-day journey travels from Mallorca to Tenerife. Guests will visit golf destinations in southern Spain and North Africa.

The cruise ends on Tenerife’s volcanic landscape. The voyage will be accompanied by golf professional Stefan Quirmbach, President of the PGA of Germany.

Sri Lanka and Malaysia Golf Escape

January 4–16, 2028

This 12-day voyage travels from Colombo to Singapore.

Guests will play on tropical coastal courses, rainforest fairways, and parkland layouts across Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

The journey includes courses such as Shangri-La’s Golf & Country Club in Hambantota, the Rainforest Course on Langkawi, and Palm Garden Golf Club near Kuala Lumpur.

The cruise will be accompanied by André Sallmann, trainer with the German national men’s team and former professional golfer.
