Trafalgar Unveils First Major River Cruise Campaign
Trafalgar has launched “Sail A Great Story,” its first major marketing campaign dedicated to river cruising. The campaign will run from June through September 2026 across multiple marketing channels.
Rather than introducing the product, Trafalgar wants to highlight the authentic experiences and local connections that travelers can enjoy on its European river cruises.
Campaign Focuses on Storytelling and Local Experiences
The campaign builds on strong demand for Trafalgar’s inaugural river cruises aboard Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity.
According to the company, the initiative encourages travelers to create their own memorable journeys while discovering Europe from a unique river perspective.
Melissa DaSilva, Deputy CEO and Chief Sales Officer at TTC Tour Brands, said the campaign also gives travel advisors an opportunity to attract new customers and convert interest into bookings.
Supporting Travel Advisors
In addition, Trafalgar designed the campaign to help its travel advisor partners expand their customer base.
By increasing awareness of river cruising, the company hopes more travelers will contact advisors to plan their European vacations.
New Promotions for 2026 and 2027
Alongside the campaign, Trafalgar has introduced two limited-time promotions.
The first incentive rewards new bookings made by travel advisors through July 31, 2026. Meanwhile, the 2027 Early Booking Advantage offers discounts on 2027 sailings for reservations made before September 30, 2026.
These promotions aim to boost early bookings while giving travelers additional value on future river cruise vacations.
