New mobile platform allows customers to book package holidays in one transaction with ATOL protection and price guarantee

LONDON – Online travel agency Thomas Cook has launched a new mobile platform, giving UK customers full access to package holiday bookings via the Thomas Cook holiday app on both iOS and Android devices.

The app enables travellers to book dynamic holiday packages—including flights and accommodation—in a single transaction, whether planning a short city break or an extended overseas getaway.

One-Stop Booking with Financial Protection

Through the new mobile platform, users can select from:

  • Hundreds of airlines
  • Tens of thousands of hotels worldwide
  • Flexible travel dates and trip durations

All packages booked via the Thomas Cook online travel agency are protected under an ATOL licence issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and insured under ABTA, the UK’s association of travel agents.

The company also offers a lowest price guarantee on holiday packages, ensuring customers secure competitive market rates at the time of booking.

Alan French, Chief Holidays Officer at eSky Group and Thomas Cook online travel agency, said the launch was designed to simplify trip planning.

We wanted users to be able to comfortably and quickly plan their trips here and now, in one place. With the introduction of the app, we offer a one-stop service: from flights to accommodation to support during the holiday.”

Mobile Bookings Continue to Rise

While desktop bookings still account for the majority of holiday transactions globally, Thomas Cook says mobile usage is steadily increasing.

French noted that although customers often finalize larger holiday purchases on computers, smartphones are becoming central to the travel planning journey.

“A global trend shows that although customers’ holiday and city break bookings are still more likely to end up on a computer, the share of the mobile channel in sales is increasing. As eSky Group, we consistently focus on multichannel, but we see that smartphones are the future. Our Thomas Cook app is becoming not only a tool for purchasing entire tours, but also a personal guide

Flexible Search and Payment Options

Developed by eSky Group’s in-house technology team, the Thomas Cook holiday app allows users to:

  • Search by preferred travel period or trip length
  • Compare bundled flight and hotel options
  • Manage bookings in one place

Customers can pay using multiple methods, including:

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay

The company positions the app not only as a booking engine, but also as a travel planning and trip management tool.

The Thomas Cook app is available now for UK holidaymakers on:
