MONTRÉAL, Canada – 11 February 2026 – Emirates has deployed its new Airbus A350 on flights between Dubai and Montréal, marking a milestone for its Canadian operations and making Montréal the first destination in the airline’s Americas network to receive the new aircraft type.
The launch of the Emirates A350 Montréal route introduces the airline’s latest-generation Premium Economy cabin to Canadian travellers, alongside upgraded Business and Economy Class experiences.
Daily A350 Service Between Dubai and Montréal
The Airbus A350 now operates daily on flights EK243 and EK244, replacing the Boeing 777 previously serving the route.
Flight Schedule (local time):
- EK243: Departs Dubai at 02:45, arrives Montréal at 07:35
- EK244: Departs Montréal at 10:40, arrives Dubai at 08:00 (next day)
Montréal becomes the first of Emirates’ 19 destinations in the Americas to showcase the A350. Toronto, Emirates’ other Canadian gateway, continues to be served daily by the airline’s flagship Airbus A380.
Introducing Emirates’ Premium Economy to Montréal
A key highlight of the A350 deployment is the introduction of Emirates’ award-winning Premium Economy cabin, designed to bridge the gap between Business and Economy Class.

- Business Class: 32 seats (1-2-1 configuration)
- Premium Economy: 28 seats (2-3-2 configuration)
- Economy Class: 238 seats (3-3-3 configuration)
The aircraft features higher ceilings, wider aisles and quieter cabins, contributing to a more spacious and modern onboard environment.

Through its codeshare partnership with Air Canada, Emirates customers flying into Montréal and Toronto gain access to 37 additional destinations across Canada and the United States, strengthening onward connectivity throughout North America.
