Miami — Royal Caribbean has unveiled its highly anticipated Royal Caribbean 2027–28 Vacations lineup, marking a major milestone with Icon of the Seas sailing from Galveston, Texas, for the first time. Beginning in August 2027, the world’s best family vacation will headline an adventure-packed season featuring sailings from Texas, California and the Northeast, with itineraries spanning the Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, Canada and New England.
The new season, now open for booking to Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members ahead of general availability on Nov. 13, offers vacationers a wide range of 4- to 12-night cruises on nine ships, starting April 2027.
Texas Takes Center Stage with Icon of the Seas
Icon of the Seas – From Galveston
The record-breaking Icon of the Seas will make its Texas debut in August 2027 after starting the season in Miami. Sailing 6- to 8-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, Icon will visit Perfect Day at CocoCay (Bahamas), Roatan (Honduras) and Cozumel (Mexico), where guests can enjoy the upcoming Royal Beach Club Cozumel, opening in late 2026.
On board, guests can experience Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea, relax across seven pools, and choose from 40+ dining and bar venues, delivering Royal Caribbean’s most comprehensive family vacation experience yet.
Liberty of the Seas – From Galveston
Starting April 2027, the newly amplified Liberty of the Seas will offer 4- to 8-night Caribbean sailings, including stops in Roatan and Costa Maya, Mexico. Following its 2026 amplification, highlights include a redesigned pool deck, The Lime & Coconut, new private casitas and an all-new Royal Escape Room.
Symphony of the Seas – From Galveston
For the first time, Symphony of the Seas will homeport in Texas, delivering 4- to 8-night Western Caribbean cruises to Nassau, Perfect Day at CocoCay, Cozumel and Costa Maya. Onboard favorites include The Ultimate Abyss, Jamie’s Italian, El Loco Fresh and Boleros.

Ovation of the Seas – From Los Angeles
The newly amplified Ovation of the Seas will sail 3- and 4-night getaways to Ensenada, Mexico, and Catalina Island, California. Guests can enjoy the North Star observation capsule, SeaPlex, the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, and new nightlife venues like Sound Cellar.
Navigator of the Seas – From Los Angeles
Returning for another season, Navigator of the Seas will offer 7-night Mexican Riviera cruises to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta and Ensenada, with onboard highlights including the FlowRider, rock-climbing wall and more than 20 dining venues.
Scenic Sailings from the Northeast
Oasis of the Seas – From Cape Liberty
Beginning May 2027, Oasis of the Seas will offer 7-night Caribbean cruises to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, featuring 30+ dining and entertainment venues.
Odyssey of the Seas – From Cape Liberty
From November 2027, Odyssey of the Seas will operate 7- to 12-night Caribbean itineraries to destinations such as St. Kitts, Barbados and St. Lucia, paired with immersive onboard entertainment and dining.
Independence of the Seas – From Cape Liberty
During spring and summer 2027, Independence of the Seas will sail 4- to 9-night cruises to Bermuda, Canada, New England and the Eastern Caribbean.
Vision of the Seas – From Baltimore
Vision of the Seas will offer 5- and 9-night sailings to Bimini and Bermuda in summer, and Canada & New England itineraries in fall.
