Qatar Airways Showcases Next-Generation Travel Technology at Arabian Travel Market 2026
Qatar Airways showcased its latest travel technology, premium cabin products and digital services at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 in Dubai.
The airline’s interactive pavilion featured Qsuite Next Gen, Starlink onboard connectivity and several AI-powered travel tools. Visitors also explored QVerse Island, the airline’s digital destination within Fortnite.
In addition, Qatar Airways announced new tourism partnerships aimed at strengthening international travel through its Doha hub.
Qatar Airways Signs New Tourism Partnerships
During Arabian Travel Market 2026, Qatar Airways signed Memoranda of Understanding with six tourism organisations.
The new partners include Kenya Tourism Board, Jordan Tourism Board, Sri Lanka Promotions Bureau, Tourism Malaysia, Visit Newport Beach and Visit Maldives.
These agreements aim to support tourism promotion and develop new travel opportunities across key markets.
Moreover, the partnerships will help promote international connections through Hamad International Airport in Doha.
Starlink Connectivity Expands Across Qatar Airways Fleet
Onboard connectivity was a major focus of the Qatar Airways Arabian Travel Market 2026 showcase.
The airline highlighted its Starlink programme, which provides high-speed internet access during flights.
Qatar Airways was the first airline in the Middle East and North Africa region to introduce Starlink connectivity onboard.
The airline now operates up to 340 Starlink-enabled flights daily, with more than 150 widebody aircraft equipped with the service.
Since launching Starlink in October 2024, more than 25 million passengers have connected to the service across over 96,000 flights.
Qsuite Next Gen Highlights Premium Cabin Innovation
Qatar Airways also presented its Qsuite Next Gen business class experience.
The new suites focus on privacy, comfort and flexible seating arrangements.
Features include 4K OLED adjustable entertainment screens, digitally controlled dividers and custom privacy settings.
The Quad Suite can accommodate up to four passengers in a shared space. Meanwhile, the Companion Suite provides an option for two passengers travelling together.
In addition, the suites include a dedicated Make My Bed button for the airline’s turndown service.
QVerse Island Brings Qatar Airways Into Fortnite
Visitors also explored QVerse Island, Qatar Airways’ first digital destination within Fortnite.
The experience recreates parts of Doha and Hamad International Airport in a virtual environment.
Players can explore well-known landmarks and complete interactive challenges guided by Sama, the airline’s digital cabin crew member.
At ATM Dubai, Qatar Airways offered access to QVerse Island through two interactive stations.
AI-Powered Infinite Awards Supports Loyalty Members
Qatar Airways Privilege Club showcased Infinite Awards, an AI-powered tool designed to help members plan their reward travel.
The system acts as a personal rewards assistant. It suggests ways to collect Avios through the airline’s network of loyalty partners.
Furthermore, members can receive destination suggestions based on their interests, travel goals and lifestyle preferences.
The conversational tool aims to make reward planning easier through personalised recommendations.
Q Search Simplifies Travel Information
Another digital feature at the pavilion was Q Search, an AI-powered conversational tool integrated into the Qatar Airways website.
The system allows travelers to ask questions about airline products and services using natural language.
Instead of searching through multiple pages, users can receive direct conversational responses.
As a result, Qatar Airways aims to make travel information easier to access throughout the customer journey.
Qatar Airways Focuses on Connected Travel Experiences
Through its participation at Arabian Travel Market 2026, Qatar Airways highlighted its investment in passenger comfort, digital services and international tourism partnerships.
The combination of Starlink connectivity, Qsuite Next Gen and AI-powered tools reflects the airline’s focus on improving the travel experience.
Meanwhile, its new tourism agreements aim to strengthen global connections through Doha.
Together, these developments demonstrate how Qatar Airways is combining cabin innovation, digital technology and tourism partnerships to support future growth.
