Chef Rachel Hargrove to Host Three Culinary Voyages for Emerald Cruises
Emerald Cruises is expanding its culinary programme with three special sailings hosted by chef Rachel Hargrove across Europe and the Caribbean.
Emerald Cruises & Tours is introducing a new series of culinary voyages hosted by chef Rachel Hargrove in late 2026 and 2027. The three eight-day sailings will combine destination-focused cuisine with immersive onboard experiences.
Guests will explore the culinary traditions of each destination through specially curated menus, live cooking demonstrations and interactive sessions hosted by Hargrove. The programme aims to offer a deeper understanding of local ingredients, cooking traditions and regional influences.
Three Culinary Journeys
The first sailing, Cruising the Leeward Islands, departs on December 13, 2026, aboard Emerald Azzurra. The itinerary will explore Caribbean cuisine, with a focus on seafood and the region’s relaxed island lifestyle.
Next, Sensations of the Seine & Normandy departs on October 30, 2027, aboard Emerald Lumi. The river cruise will travel through northern France while highlighting the culinary traditions of Normandy and Paris.
The third voyage, Caribbean Yachting Hideaways, departs on December 4, 2027. Guests will discover secluded islands, hidden coves and beaches while experiencing the flavours of the Caribbean.
Chef-Led Culinary Experiences
Known for her appearances on Bravo’s Below Deck, Rachel Hargrove will play a central role across all three voyages. She will curate menus and lead live cooking demonstrations throughout the journeys.
The programme is designed to connect food with the destinations visited. Rather than simply sampling local dishes, guests will learn about the ingredients, traditions and cultural influences behind regional cuisine.
