Sandals Resorts Ushers in a New Era for Destination Weddings in Jamaica

Sandals Resorts is transforming three Jamaican resorts while introducing new experiences for destination weddings and celebrations.

Sandals Resorts is investing US$200 million to transform Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Caribbean Cay, and Sandals South Coast. As the projects take shape, the brand is also introducing new ways to celebrate weddings and special occasions in Jamaica.

The resort company is launching two new offerings for couples and their guests. First, qualifying couples can receive a free wedding package for 2027 weddings in Jamaica. In addition, The Celebration Collection by Island Routes offers bespoke adventures for couples and their guests.

Across the three resorts, couples will find redesigned accommodations, dining experiences, and gathering spaces. The resorts will also introduce the brand’s first double queen suites, giving wedding parties and groups greater flexibility.

Celebrate With a Free Wedding in Jamaica

Sandals Resorts is inviting couples planning 2027 destination weddings in Jamaica to celebrate with an upgraded Sweetheart Wedding Package at participating resorts.

To qualify, couples must book a minimum five-night stay in a Club or Butler category room for travel in 2027. The offer covers weddings with up to 50 guests.

The package includes:

  • Dedicated wedding planning services
  • Ceremony venue
  • Bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere
  • Private cocktail reception
  • Wedding cake
  • Photography and videography credits
  • Spa savings
  • Romantic honeymoon amenities
  • Waived Jamaica marriage license and administrative fees, valued at US$250

The offer also applies to elopements, petite weddings, and microweddings.

Celebrate Jamaica Beyond the Resort

The new Celebration Collection by Island Routes lets couples and their guests explore Jamaica beyond the resorts.

The collection features private experiences for proposals, destination weddings, vow renewals, and milestone celebrations. For example, couples can choose private catamaran cruises, waterfall adventures, secluded cove excursions, and luxury beachside lunches.

They can also enjoy artisanal chocolate and rum pairings, Jamaican cooking classes, bamboo river rafting, and cultural tours. These experiences explore destinations across Montego Bay and historic Falmouth.

As a result, couples can combine their celebrations with authentic Jamaican experiences.

Three Jamaican Settings for Every Love Story

Sandals Montego Bay

At Sandals Montego Bay, couples can celebrate at the resort where the Sandals story began. Ceremonies can take place overlooking one of Jamaica’s iconic beaches.

Meanwhile, the resort is adding new experiences, including Jamaica’s first waterfront Buccan, Bay Roc Rum Club, Scrimshaw, and Parisol Beach Club.

New Swim-Up Suites and Oceanview accommodations will also give couples romantic spaces close to the Caribbean Sea.

Sandals Caribbean Cay

Sandals Caribbean Cay offers a distinctive setting centered around its offshore island.

Here, couples can exchange vows on Sandals Cay and gather for family-style dinners at Suppa. They can also enjoy cocktails at Keynote Rum Bar before relaxing in new SkyPool Suites.

In addition, the resort is refreshing its Overwater Butler Villas and Beachfront Swim-Up Suites. The new Parisol Beach Club on Sandals Cay provides another setting for waterfront celebrations.

Sandals South Coast

Set within a 500-acre nature preserve, Sandals South Coast offers a secluded setting for couples.

Lush landscapes and Caribbean views create a peaceful backdrop for weddings and romantic celebrations. Guests can start the day with Blue Mountain coffee at BLUM before enjoying dinner at the new Butch’s Island Chop House.

The resort also features refreshed Overwater Butler Villas. Furthermore, its new Silver Sun Beachfront Club Two Queen Junior Suites give wedding parties and friends more options for staying together.

More Savings for Jamaica Getaways

Couples celebrating weddings, anniversaries, or romantic escapes can also take advantage of The Great Jamaica Comeback Sale at Sandals Resorts.

The promotion offers up to US$1,500 in instant credit, up to US$350 in air credit, and a complimentary Jamaican adventure.

Guests must book by September 7, 2026, for qualifying stays through December 25, 2027. However, savings and inclusions vary based on the length of stay and travel dates.

Overall, the resort transformations and new experiences give couples more ways to celebrate in Jamaica. Sandals Resorts is combining redesigned accommodations, private adventures, and wedding benefits to create a more immersive destination wedding experience.
