Mindtrip is expanding its AI-powered travel platform into Europe, helping destinations improve travel discovery and connect visitors with local experiences.

New Partnerships Support European Expansion

Mindtrip has announced partnerships with destination marketing organizations (DMOs) Madeira Promotion Bureau and Norwegian Travel Cluster.

The agreements mark a major step in the company’s European growth strategy.

Mindtrip, founded in 2023, uses artificial intelligence to help travelers discover attractions, restaurants, and activities through conversational search.

Helping Destinations Adapt to AI Travel

Mindtrip founder and CEO Andy Moss said the platform helps destinations manage how travelers discover places online.

“With organic search declining, destinations across Europe are preparing for a world where AI increasingly shapes travel decisions,” Moss said.

The platform integrates directly into DMO websites. As a result, visitors can explore local recommendations and plan trips through AI-powered conversations.

The company said this approach supports changing travel habits as more people use AI tools during trip planning.

Rapid Growth Since Launch

Mindtrip has expanded quickly since launching its platform in May 2024.

The company raised $7 million in 2023 before its official launch.

Later, in September 2024, Mindtrip secured another $12 million and introduced a group chat feature.

The company continued adding new features. In October 2024, it launched a receipt tool, followed by a business-to-business solution in November.

New Technology and Industry Partnerships

In March 2025, Mindtrip acquired travel platform Thatch.

The company later launched a mobile app in June 2025.

Additionally, Capital One Ventures and United Airlines Ventures invested in Mindtrip in December 2025.

More recently, Mindtrip introduced an AI-powered travel experience with Sabre and PayPal.

The company’s European expansion highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in shaping how travelers search, plan, and experience destinations.
