Seattle, United States — Port of Seattle has officially launched the 2026 Alaska cruise season, setting a new record with 330 vessel calls and 2.1 million passengers, the highest in the port’s history.
Season Begins With Strong Momentum
The season starts on April 17, 2026, with the first in-transit cruise arrival.
This year, more than one million यात्रers are expected to begin their Alaska journeys from Seattle, supporting local jobs, businesses, and regional tourism.
Sustainability Push Through Shore Power Expansion

In 2025, about 87 percent of compatible ships used clean electricity supplied by Seattle City Light while docked.

Virgin Voyages’ ship, Brilliant Lady, will offer an adults-only cruising experience in the Pacific Northwest.
