Singapore | April 7, 2026 — Singapore Airlines has announced that passengers will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 live onboard through its KrisWorld entertainment system.
The matches will be available from June 11 to July 19, 2026, via Sport 24 on KrisWorld Live TV, allowing passengers to follow the tournament in real time while flying.
In-Flight Viewing Experience
Passengers can watch live matches at 30,000 feet, staying connected to one of the world’s biggest sporting events. The service forms part of the airline’s effort to enhance its onboard experience.
Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines, said the initiative helps passengers stay connected to global events while traveling. He added that live sports complement the airline’s broader entertainment offerings.
Availability and Coverage
KrisWorld Live TV is available on selected aircraft, including:
- Boeing 787-10
- Boeing 737-8
- Airbus A350-900 (41 aircraft)
- Boeing 777-300ER (eight aircraft)
Live streaming depends on satellite coverage, broadcasting rights, and regulatory approvals on specific routes.
