Extended port stays and flexible sailings highlight 2026 Hong Kong departures

April 2026 — StarCruises has unveiled enhanced summer itineraries aboard the Star Voyager, offering expanded travel options across Asia.

The sailings will depart from Ocean Terminal in Hong Kong between July 3 and August 30, 2026.

Bookings are set to open on April 27, 2026.

Focus on flexibility and deeper exploration

The updated itineraries aim to provide more immersive travel experiences.

Therefore, StarCruises has introduced longer port stays and diverse route options.

Passengers can now explore destinations at a relaxed pace.

In many cases, port stays extend up to nine to ten hours.

Okinawa cruises highlight island experiences

The Star Voyager will operate multiple five-night cruises to Okinawa.

Destinations include:

  • Ishigaki
  • Miyakojima
  • Naha

Guests can explore historic landmarks such as Shurijo Castle.

In addition, they can enjoy snorkeling, local cuisine, and shopping experiences.

Vietnam itinerary adds cultural depth

A five-night cruise to Ha Long Bay and Da Nang will depart on July 5.

Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers dramatic landscapes and cultural attractions.

Therefore, this itinerary appeals to travelers seeking both nature and heritage.

Short cruises for quick getaways

StarCruises also introduces shorter itineraries.

These include:

  • Three-night cruises to Penghu and Kaohsiung
  • Two-night weekend high seas cruises

As a result, travelers can enjoy flexible vacation options.

Blended itineraries across regions

A five-night cruise combining Okinawa and Taiwan destinations will sail on August 9.

This route connects:

  • Naha
  • Keelung
  • Penghu

Consequently, passengers experience a mix of island and coastal destinations.

Outlook

StarCruises’ enhanced itineraries reflect growing demand for flexible and immersive travel.

As travelers seek deeper experiences, longer port stays and diverse routes are becoming key differentiators.
