MSC Cruises has announced a significant update to its Winter 2026–2027 cruise season, confirming that the ship MSC World Europa will now sail in the Southern Caribbean instead of the Middle East.
The vessel was originally scheduled to operate itineraries in the Middle East from November 2026 through April 2027. However, due to the ongoing conflict in the region, the cruise line has decided to reposition the ship to Caribbean routes.
New Caribbean Itineraries
During the Winter 2026–27 season, MSC World Europa will offer 7-night and 14-night cruises departing from several Caribbean ports, including:
- Fort-de-France
- Pointe-à-Pitre
- Bridgetown
The updated itineraries will also feature calls at popular Caribbean destinations such as:
- Castries
- Saint George’s
- Philipsburg
- St. John’s
- Basseterre
- Roseau
- Kingstown
These destinations are known for their tropical landscapes, beaches, and vibrant Caribbean culture, offering passengers diverse travel experiences across the region.

The decision to reroute the ship comes amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, which has affected cruise operations in the region. The situation previously impacted passengers aboard MSC Euribia, leaving approximately 6,000 cruise guests temporarily stranded in Dubai.
MSC Cruises later arranged flights for all affected passengers to leave the region safely.
