Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight schedule to and from Doha following the temporary closure of Qatari airspace, which forced the airline to suspend most scheduled operations. The carrier is now gradually restoring selected services after receiving temporary authorization from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to operate within limited air corridors.
The move aims to help passengers affected by the disruption continue their journeys and reunite with family members while authorities assess conditions for the full reopening of Qatari airspace.
Temporary flight operations from Doha
According to the airline, a restricted set of flights will operate between 13 March and 16 March 2026 from Hamad International Airport in Doha.
Key destinations served during this period include:
- 13 March: Perth, Seoul, Dhaka, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kochi, Algiers, Miami, Istanbul, Cairo, Amsterdam, London, Milan and Paris.
- 14 March: Riyadh, Muscat, Shanghai, Manila, Johannesburg, Dallas, Toronto, Colombo, Cairo, Islamabad, Mumbai, London, Rome, Madrid and Frankfurt.
- 15 March: Istanbul, Dhaka, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Delhi, Algiers, Melbourne, New York, Jeddah, São Paulo, Madrid, Hong Kong, London, Casablanca and Paris.

Limited inbound services to Doha
Flights returning to Doha will also operate on a limited basis between 13 March and 17 March.
Inbound services include major global hubs such as Amsterdam, London, Milan and Paris on 13 March, followed by additional routes from cities including Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Miami, Istanbul, Johannesburg, Madrid and Frankfurt over the following days.
Further inbound flights on 17 March are scheduled from Perth, Muscat, Seoul, Bangkok, Beijing, Dhaka, Kochi, Jakarta, Mumbai, Cairo, Miami and Colombo.
Special flights arranged for affected passengers
The airline has also arranged selected direct point-to-point flights to assist travellers who need to continue their journeys. Eligible passengers will be contacted directly by the airline.
However, these flights do not indicate the full resumption of normal commercial operations, which will only occur once aviation authorities declare Qatari airspace safe for regular traffic.
Passengers have been advised not to arrive at airports without a confirmed ticket due to the limited nature of the services.
Flexible travel options for disrupted bookings
To support travellers affected by the disruption, Qatar Airways is offering flexible travel options for passengers with bookings between 28 February and 22 March 2026, including:
- Two complimentary date changes within 14 days of the original travel date
- Full refund of the unused ticket value
The airline stated that the safety of passengers and crew remains the highest priority while it works with aviation authorities to restore full operations.
