Qatar Airways Restores Global Connectivity
Qatar Airways is expanding its Qatar Airways Summer 2026 Global Network to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
The airline is adding 26 destinations across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. This expansion strengthens Qatar Airways’ global connectivity and restores access to important international markets.
Skytrax named Qatar Airways the World’s Best Airline in 2025 for the ninth time. The airline continues to focus on reliable operations, smooth connections and enhanced passenger experiences.
Since March 2026, Qatar Airways has safely resumed operations to more than 60 destinations. Now, the airline is rebuilding its network and increasing travel options for passengers worldwide.
Enhanced Travel Experience Through Doha
Passengers benefit from convenient connections through Hamad International Airport in Doha.
The airport offers a wide range of shopping, dining and lifestyle experiences through Qatar Duty Free. In addition, Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club allows members to earn and use Avios for future travel benefits.
The airline has also introduced Starlink connectivity across its fleet. More than 140 Qatar Airways aircraft now offer high-speed Wi-Fi, providing passengers with internet speeds of up to 500 Mbps.
Expanded African Network
As part of the Qatar Airways Summer 2026 Global Network, the airline is returning to several African destinations.
The expansion includes:
- Kigali, Rwanda – two weekly flights
- Seychelles – four weekly flights
- Marrakesh, Morocco – seven weekly flights
The airline will also launch flights to Port Sudan on July 2, further strengthening its African presence.
Growth Across the Americas
Qatar Airways is rebuilding its network in the Americas with new and returning routes.
Flights to Caracas and Bogotá will begin on July 22, while services to Philadelphia will restart from August 1.
Furthermore, Boston services will increase to support travel demand during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Additional increases include:
- Los Angeles – increased from four to seven weekly flights
- Miami – increased from seven to ten weekly flights
- San Francisco – increased from four to seven weekly flights
More Connections Across Asia and Europe
The airline is also restoring services across Asia and Asia Pacific.
Returning destinations include:
- Adelaide, Australia
- Almaty, Kazakhstan
- Auckland, New Zealand
- Baku, Azerbaijan
- Osaka, Japan
- Tashkent, Uzbekistan
- Tbilisi, Georgia
- Tokyo Haneda, Japan
- Yerevan, Armenia
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways is expanding its European network with services to:
- Belgrade, Serbia
- Brussels, Belgium
- Budapest, Hungary
- Düsseldorf, Germany
- Helsinki, Finland
- Lisbon, Portugal
- Oslo, Norway
- Prague, Czech Republic
- Zagreb, Croatia
