Royal Caribbean Group has officially launched its new Royal ONE credit cards, offering travelers a unified way to earn and redeem rewards across its cruise brands.
Developed in partnership with Bank of America, the cards became available for applications starting April 28.
Unified Rewards Across Three Cruise Brands
The Royal ONE credit cards simplify loyalty benefits across:
- Royal Caribbean
- Celebrity Cruises
- Silversea
As a result, travelers can earn and redeem points seamlessly across all three brands, instead of managing separate loyalty systems.
Card Options and Annual Fees
Royal Caribbean Group offers two versions of the card:
- Royal ONE Credit Card – No annual fee
- Royal ONE Plus Credit Card – $99 annual fee
This tiered structure allows customers to choose a card based on their travel frequency and spending habits.
Welcome Bonus and Rewards Structure
Both cards provide attractive welcome bonuses for new users:
- Royal ONE Credit Card: Earn 45,000 points after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days
- Royal ONE Plus Credit Card: Earn 70,000 points after spending $3,000 within the first 90 days
In addition, users can earn points on everyday purchases as well as cruise bookings.
Travel Perks and Benefits
Beyond rewards, the Royal ONE credit cards include travel-focused perks designed to enhance the cruise experience.
For example, cardholders receive:
- Priority boarding
- Travel-related benefits across partner cruise brands
- Simplified redemption for vacation purchases
Therefore, the cards aim to deliver both convenience and added value for frequent cruisers.
Strategic Move to Enhance Customer Loyalty
With the launch of the Royal ONE credit cards, Royal Caribbean Group strengthens its ecosystem by integrating financial services with travel experiences.
Moreover, this move aligns with broader industry trends where travel companies expand into loyalty-driven financial products to increase customer retention and lifetime value.
