Sabre, PayPal and Mindtrip Partner to Launch Industry’s First End-to-End Agentic AI Travel Experience

Strategic alliance aims to unify discovery, booking and payments into one conversational journey, launching Q2 2026

SOUTHLAKE, Texas; SAN JOSE, Calif.; and PALO ALTO, Calif. – February 12, 2026 – Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ: PYPL) and Silicon Valley-based startup Mindtrip have announced a strategic partnership to deliver what they describe as the industry’s first fully integrated agentic AI travel experience.

The collaboration combines Mindtrip’s AI-driven consumer platform, PayPal’s agentic commerce and digital wallet capabilities, and Sabre’s enterprise-grade travel infrastructure. The companies plan to launch the integrated solution in the second quarter of 2026.

From Inspiration to Booking in One Continuous Flow

The new platform is designed to eliminate the fragmented, multi-step process typical of online travel booking.

Instead of navigating multiple tabs and platforms, travelers will be able to:

  • Describe destinations, budgets and preferences in natural language
  • Receive personalized flight and hotel recommendations
  • Refine options conversationally through follow-up prompts
  • Complete bookings and payments within the same interface
  • Manage itineraries post-booking, including changes

The initial rollout will support flight bookings, with hotel integration planned in a phased expansion.

Behind the conversational interface, Sabre’s Mosaic™ platform and APIs will power real-time pricing, inventory access, booking and servicing. PayPal will embed identity verification and checkout directly into the experience.

Integrated Commerce and Trusted Payments

PayPal will serve as the preferred commerce partner, enabling digital wallet payments and flexible options such as Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL).

Embedded features include:

  • Identity verification
  • Encrypted transactions
  • Personalized offers and rewards
  • Seller and purchase protections on eligible transactions

The companies say integrating payments directly into the AI-driven journey reduces friction at checkout and improves conversion rates for suppliers.

Enterprise-Scale Travel Infrastructure

Sabre’s infrastructure will provide access to:

  • More than 420 airlines, including 150 low-cost carriers
  • Over 2 million lodging options
  • Global distribution and fulfillment capabilities

Through Sabre’s Mosaic™ platform, airlines, hotels and agencies can participate in AI-driven demand generation without building standalone consumer AI systems.

The initiative positions Sabre as the enterprise backbone supporting next-generation conversational commerce in travel.

Industry Context: Conversational Commerce Gains Momentum

The partnership reflects broader shifts in consumer behavior toward conversational interfaces and AI-powered decision-making.

As travel remains one of the most complex consumer purchases—requiring coordination across inventory, pricing, loyalty programs and payments—the companies argue that a unified agentic AI travel experience can simplify decision-making while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability.

Executives from all three firms emphasized scalability, security and practical use cases as central differentiators compared to standalone AI travel tools.
