Frankfurt, Germany – February 2026 – Lufthansa has announced that 25 of 28 seats in its new Allegris Business Class cabin aboard the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner are now available for booking, with travel beginning April 15, 2026.
Following key certification milestones, the majority of the redesigned Business Class seats can now be reserved immediately, marking a major step in Lufthansa’s ongoing long-haul product transformation.
Expanding the Allegris Experience
Lufthansa first introduced its fully redesigned Allegris cabin concept in summer 2024 on the Airbus A350-900 operating from Munich. Since October 9, 2025, Allegris has also been flying from Frankfurt on newly delivered Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
With regulatory approvals largely complete — except for three seats in the second row of the Business Class cabin — customers can now secure one of 25 operational seats for flights from mid-April onward.
Jens Ritter, CEO of Lufthansa Airlines, stated that more than one million passengers have already experienced the Allegris cabin since launch in 2024, underscoring strong customer demand.
